Let’s Celebrate Movement, Access, and Independence
At Northwest Mental Health Management Services, we’re proud to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) and to honor all forms of mobility. May is Mobility Awareness Month, a time to highlight adaptive technology, accessible spaces, and the power of inclusion. Whether you use a wheelchair, walker, braces, or simply appreciate the value of accessible transportation and recreation, this month is for you!

How You Can Participate in Portland, Oregon:
Portland Parks & Recreation’s Adaptive and Inclusive Recreation (AIR) program offers accessible swimming, art, and fitness activities.

3. Know Portland’s Accessible Trails:

Ride Connection provides door-to-door transportation for individuals with disabilities across the region.
