Developmental Disability Program Manager

SUMMARY
This is a management position responsible for the daily operation of a residential facility supporting people with developmental disabilities and/or mental illness. Directly supervises 7 to 15 employees in the residential site. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Must have 2 years of experience providing direct care to I/DD populations. Direct care includes: assisting with bathing, medication distribution, incontinence controls and assistance, food texturizing when required, companionship, accompanying to appointments and outings and other scheduled and unscheduled activities.
