You will assist clients with all activities of daily living, including medication, outings, shopping, personal care, and daily challenges.

• Can start at $42,640 a year (40 hr work week); with yearly increases. We pay a starting hourly rate of $20.50 per hour.

• Have a high school education or GED.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
 

• Deliver training support, and assistance to consumers in the areas of personal care, recreation and leisure, daily living skills, social skills, health needs, personal preferences, exercising of individual rights, community integration, and behavior management.
   

• Participate in the design, implementation and monitoring of the clients’ individualized support plan. Your observations and opinions are crucial to tailoring an achievable plan.
   

• Accurately administer prescribed medications to consumers as ordered by physicians.
   

• Accurately complete required documentation including but not limited to program data, incident reports, daily log, progress notes, and health records.
   

• Ensure consumers’ health and safety at all times including but not limited to prevention of abuse, perform CPR, perform Standard First Aid, perform Heimlich procedure, and evacuate consumers in case of a fire.
   

• Prepare consumers’ meals following published menus
