Developmental Disability Program Manager

Location: Headquarters – Northwest Mental Health Management Services, Gladstone, OR
Salary: From $63,663/year (Salaried, Full-Time)
Schedule: Flexible | Day shift | On-call | Weekends & holidays as needed

Position Summary:

Northwest Mental Health Management Services (NWMH) is seeking a compassionate and experienced Program Manager to oversee the daily operations of a residential facility supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) and/or mental health needs. This leadership role requires dedication to service excellence, strong supervisory skills, and a hands-on approach to quality care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the integration, coordination, and delivery of support services for residents

• Directly supervise 7–15 residential staff, ensuring compliance with agency policies and legal standards

• Lead hiring, training, performance evaluations, and corrective actions as needed

• Manage home operations, including budget compliance, staffing schedules, maintenance, and supply management

• Participate in the on-call rotation and NWMH management team initiatives

• Ensure compliance with all applicable state and federal regulations

• Foster respectful and supportive relationships with clients, staff, families, and stakeholders

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of direct care experience supporting individuals with I/DD

• Must have 1+ year of experience in a leadership or supervisory role

• Direct care experience must include support with personal care, medication distribution, incontinence support, food preparation (including texturizing if required), companionship, and facilitating appointments or outings

• Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening

• Must have a valid Driver's License

• Must confirm no substantiated findings in Adult or Child Protective Services investigations
